The University of Louisiana at Monroe Alumni Association, in conjunction with local volunteers, has scheduled Thursday, Aug. 9 for the Morehouse Parish Dinner and Silent Auction in Bastrop, beginning at 6 p.m.

ULM President James Cofer plans to attend, along with Charlie Weatherbie, head football coach, and Lisa Miller, associate provost for Enrollment Management.

The annual catfish dinner in support of ULM will occur in the Bastrop Municipal Center, located at 1901 Moeller Dr. Door prizes will be awarded.

Tickets are available at the Ouachita Independent Bank locations in Bastrop and at the Bastrop-Morehouse Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $10 each.
