LifeShare Blood Centers to hold Fall Blood Drive at ULM Aug. 29 – Sept. 1

Members of the ULM campus family are invited to donate blood as LifeShare Blood Centers comes to campus for its first Fall Blood Drive of 2011, Aug. 29 – Sept. 1.

The blood drive runs from 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., and is sponsored by ULM Medical Laboratory Science Society.

The donor station is located in the Student Union Building, second floor, Ballrooms D and E. Identification is required.

The blood supply is at a critical low, according to ULM Medical Lab Science Department Head Debra Wisenor.

LifeShare Blood Centers try to maintain a six day supply of blood supply, however, there is less than a three day supply available.
