Drum majors for the 2008-09 ULM Sound of Today marching band have been selected.

Serving as head drum major next year will be Josh Bumgardner, a senior music education major from Shreveport. Assistant drum major is Ashlyn Labat, a sophomore accounting major from Watson. The in-line drum major will be Moyer Yearby, a freshman pre-dental hygiene major from Grayson.

These students will serve as counselors for the ULM Drum Major Academy in June and will assume their leadership roles with the Sound of Today when the band reports to campus for rehearsals on Aug. 11.
