ULM’s Sound of Today marching band welcomes back a group of veteran drum majors for the 2009-10 season.

Josh Bumgardner, a senior music education major from Bossier City, and Ashlyn Labat, a senior accounting major from Watson, served as SOT drum majors this past season and have been selected through an audition process to serve again next year.

Moyer Yearby, a sophomore dental hygiene major from Columbia, has been selected to serve as the in-line drum major, a position she held for this past season. Her responsibilities include teaching drill, conducting the marching band when called upon to do so and assisting with all aspects of marching band rehearsals and performances.
