Feb. 10, 2005 ULM officials will travel to either side of the state this month to speak with prospective students and their families during the university's "Evenings with ULM." On February 17 from 7 to 8:30 p.m., ULM President James Cofer, along with others from the university, will be at the Doubletree New Orleans Lakeside at 3838 North Causeway Blvd. in Metairie. On February 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Cofer and others will meet with potential ULM students at the Club Level at Independence Stadium (south end zone) in Shreveport. The "Evening with ULM" series
allows prospective students to discover the educational opportunities
that can make a difference in their lives and careers. President
Cofer and other university administrators discuss financial aid
and scholarships, academic programs of study, housing and campus
initiatives at ULM. Another student recruitment event, ULM's annual Spring Browse on the Bayou, is set for Saturday, March 12. Check in at Brown Auditorium begins at 8 a.m. followed at 9 a.m. by a welcome and informational session.
