The Region 3 Science Olympiad will be held on March 4 on the ULM campus.
Students will register between 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Brown Gym. The events will continue from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
The Science Olympiad will involve 300 students from over 20 high schools and middle schools as they progress through the competition. The students will compete in 46 science events ranging from building actual bridges to be tested, to constructing and testing rockets that will be launched, to conducting chemistry experiments.
The events will be held in Brown Gym, Hanna Hall, Garrett Hall, the Chemistry and Natural Science Building, the Construction Building, the Nursing Building parking lot, Biedenharn Recital Hall and Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
