Robert G. Ward, professor of painting in the University of Louisiana at Monroe Division of Art, has been named juror of the 40th Annual Tom Peyton Memorial Arts Festival in Alexandria, La.

Ward is a former Best of Show recipient at the annual exhibition, which will run this year from March 17-26 at the First United Methodist Church in Alexandria.

The opening reception and awards presentation will occur on Friday, March 17 in the church Fellowship Hall. Ward will conduct the Gallery Tour. The festival incorporates a wide variety of the arts, from music to photography to paintings.
