The Snyder Museum in Bastrop is currently showing a group exhibition by ULM art students. Known as the Painters' House Group, these students occupy private studios in a university-owned house on Bon Aire Drive.

Participants in this exhibition are:

• Samantha Allen with figurative acrylic, oil and mixed media paintings and computer generated illustrations
  
  
• Diane Hill with non-objective and landscape acrylic paintings
  
  
• Nick Hutchinson with figurative and non-objective acrylic paintings
  
  
• Brad New with figurative and landscape acrylic paintings and figurative and mixed media monotype original prints
  
  
• Stefan Nodarse with original prints in the form of figurative lithographs, etchings and color reliefs and non-objective etchings and lithographs
  
  
• Michele Smith with figurative and portrait acrylic paintings and figurative achromatic digital photographs.

The exhibit will run until Tuesday, March 27. The ULM students will be honored with an artist's reception at the Snyder on Sunday, March 11 from 2 – 4 p.m. Located at 1620 E. Madison Avenue in Bastrop, the museum is open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesdays – Fridays.
