The ULM Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. will host a spring interest meeting Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Ballroom A.

Over the past three months, students from the ULM chapter of Phi Beta Lambda assisted in the chartering process of a Future Business Leaders of America chapter at St. Frederick High School in Monroe.

“We were really pleased with turnout of interested students and support from both schools’ faculty and staff,” said Lea Booker, ULM PBL president. “Membership in FBLA should prove to be a very rewarding experience for the students at SFHS.”

For more than 60 years, FBLA-PBL, Inc. has helped high school, middle level, and postsecondary students successfully make the school-to-career transition. FBLA-PBL reportedly produces results, including: character and leadership, good citizenship, financial management skills, and global marketing knowledge. Each year, more than 250,000 students gain ability today for their personal and professional development.
