The Louisiana Political Science Association is holding its annual conference Friday, Feb. 8 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. - noon, at the ULM Student Union Building. LPSA membership is open for political science students and faculty. The general public may attend without paying.
According to The American Political Science Association Web site, the Louisiana Political Science Association was founded in 1972. Its annual meetings give political scientists across the state the chance to present current research while affording graduate and undergraduate students opportunities to sharpen their research and writing skills. The LPSA also contributes to the journal “Politics and Policy.” For more information, contact Willson, the LPSA coordinator, at: (360) 471-3133 or Sutherlin at: (318) 342-1541 or sutherlin@ulm.edu. |
