Her talk, “Why Intelligent Design is a Protestant Theory of Creation,” will be held as part of a panel discussion from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 in the Science Lecture Auditorium at LSU-Shreveport. Wilson joins a panel of distinguished LSU-S faculty, including Stephen Banks, Ph.D., professor of biology; Helen Taylor, Ph.D., professor of English; Stephen Brennan, Ph.D., professor of English; and Cran Lucas, Ph.D., professor of biology. “Darwin Days” celebrates the Charles Darwin Bicentennial, a British naturalist best known for his theory of evolution by natural selection. Darwin believed variation could make a difference in a species’ survival. The Department of Biological Sciences and the College of Sciences at LSU-Shreveport will sponsor the event. |
