ULM's "Act of Kindness Day" celebrates MLK's legacy
on Jan. 17
Committee members urge the campus family to email noteworthy acts of kindness conducted on that day to Dr. Pamela Higgins Saulsberry at email@example.com or to Dr. Attapol Kuanliang at firstname.lastname@example.org. The act(s) of kindness will be posted on ULM's Diversity Committee Facebook page. Entry deadline is Monday, Jan. 24.
Here are just a few examples of noteworthy acts of kindness: planting flowers at a widow's residence, cleaning a neighbor's yard, delivering flowers to someone sick, fixing or painting someone's damaged fence, picking up trash on the street, mentoring a young adult or child, spending time with someone with physical challenges or delivering groceries to a needy family.
For more information, please call Dr. Saulsberry at 318-342-1445 or Dr. Kuanliang at 318-342-1449.
