LSBDC at ULM hosts workshop to help aspiring entrepreneurs Jan. 17

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana Monroe will hold this year’s first “Starting & Financing a Business Workshop” on Thursday, Jan. 17.

The session, which is free, will take place from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., in Hemphill Hall, Room 133.

Hemphill Hall is located at 3810 Northeast Dr.

This workshop is highly recommended for individuals interested in determining the feasibility of their business ideas, planning to start or have recently started a small business, seeking a small business loan, or wanting to learn more about business planning. 

Topics of discussion will include: entrepreneurship readiness; business plan writing; sources of funds for start-up and expansion; small business resources; and required licenses.
