White chosen to assist in analysis concerning medical home workforce
ULM’s Dr. Neil R. White, assistant professor of sociology and a Research Fellow with the Social Science Research Lab, will be the ULM designee to assist in an analysis of workforce needs, supply and demand.
This will support a medical home model for health care delivery, concerning citizens of northwest Louisiana. The funding is provided by the National Institutes of Health, National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
ULM will receive a $2500 seed grant for supplying requested data and information about the courses, programs, curricula, and continuing education offerings available to students and learners that support the preparation of the medical home workforce.
Dr. Susan T. Pierce in the College of Nursing at Northwestern State University will be the principle investigator in this analysis.
