The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is conducting a workshop geared toward helping entrepreneurs who want to go into business, 9 a.m.-11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 7.

“Finding Business Opportunities” will address a number of ways individual entrepreneurs can identify possible business opportunities and will include group participation to generate several ideas during the course of the workshop.

Some of the topics of discussion will include conducting an inventory analysis, analyzing the market, searching available literature, looking and listening, recording ideas, evaluating the alternatives and assessing each remaining opportunity.
