Tickets for Kevin Hart show on sale Aug. 5

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Campus Activities Board is partnering with 321 Productions to host comedian Kevin Hart on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Monroe Civic Center.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, Aug. 5 at the Monroe Civic Center, La Capitol Bank on the ULM campus, and www.ulmtickets.com.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.

Tickets prices are as follows: $20 for students with their student ID in the upper sections; $35 for the general public in the upper sections.

Floor seating will be $60 for first section and $45 for the back section. There is general admission seating for the upper sections and assigned seating for the floor seats.

Hart, the 2011 host of the BET awards, has done several stand-up TV specials for Comedy Central, including I'm a Little Grown Man (2009) and Seriously Funny (2010).

In 2010, Hart appeared in Air Jordan commercials alongside Dwyane Wade.

Hart also appears frequently as a "roundtable" guest on the late-night E! talk show, Chelsea Lately.
