Memorial service for President Emeritus George T. Walker set for July 9

With Dr. George T. Walker’s passing on June 19, ULM lost one of its founding pillars and staunchest supporters.

The Walker family has announced that a memorial service to honor President Emeritus Walker will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 9, at First Presbyterian Church, 1201 Stubbs Ave., Monroe, with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
