The educational and cultural Chautauqua Nexus series continues its semester roster with several scheduled discussions.
Ken Stickney will host a Chautauqua Nexus entitled "Showdown in the Piney Woods: A Unionist Editor Closes His Newspaper" Monday, March 6 at 7:15 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th floor Media Room.
On Monday, March 13, Dan Makoske will lead a Chautauqua Nexus called “Intelligent Design.” The event begins at 7:15 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th floor Media Room.
Kerry Heafner will host a Chautauqua Nexus entitled “Watergate” Thursday, March 16 at 7:15 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th floor Media Room.
Nexus presentations are free, informal and open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend. ULM FRYS students are encouraged to attend and sign in.
“The Nexus is an opportunity for intellectual and cultural exchange,” said Dr. Joe McGahan, ULM psychology professor and Chautauqua Nexus organizer.
