ULM School of Nursing to Co-Host Health Fair
On Saturday, March 18, from 9 a.m. until noon, ULM School of Nursing and the McGuire United Methodist Church will host a health fair in the Family Life Center gym in McGuire United Methodist Church, located at 1200 Arkansas Rd. in West Monroe.
The focus of the health fair, entitled “Spring into Wellness,” will focus on both young families and aging families. The health fair will concentrate on:
• Heart disease prevention
• Weight/Obesity/Nutrition/Diabetes
• Accident prevention/Safety
• Tobacco Free Kids
• Success in School
• Sleep/Rest
• Stress/Relaxation
• Domestic Violence
The health fair is open to the public and is free of charge.
