ULM’s dance team, the Warbonnets, will hold tryouts April 27 and 28 in Brown Annex.

Open practices for interested students are from 6:30 – 9 p.m. April 2, 3, 16, and 17.

The Warbonnets consists of 30 – 40 members who must maintain an established level of tradition. They perform precision high kick halftime routines with the band during football season, and jazz, hip hop and pom-pom routines at pep rallies and men’s and women’s home basketball games.

The Warbonnets perform at the Miss ULM Pageant and compete at the Universal Dance Association College National Championship in Orlando, Fla. They also make numerous appearances at campus and community events.
