31 Ambassadors to present “Big Switch - Backpacks To Briefcases” April 3; sign-ups begin March 17

For ULM students wondering what President James Cofer does at his job, and how well he would do their schoolwork, a golden opportunity has arisen in the form of “Big Switch – Backpacks to Briefcases” Thursday, April 3 from 8 a.m. – noon; sign-ups begin Monday, March 17.

Cofer and prominent community members like Judge John Larry Lolley will be swapping places with participating ULM students—everyone able to see how “the other half lives.”

Interested students should go to the set-up area for each day or to the Alumni Center to fill out a ticket. Tickets are free, and students may enter as many as they like, putting their ticket into the person’s box that they would like to swap places with. Drawings for swapees will be Thursday, March 20.

Daily set-ups:

  • Monday, March 17 from 10 a.m. – noon in the Quad

  • Tuesday, March 18 from 10 a.m. – noon at the Activity Center

  • Wednesday, March 19 from 9 – 11 a.m. in front of the Administration Building

  • Thursday, March 20 from 9 – 11 a.m. in the Quad.
