The ULM School of Construction Management, in conjunction with the Ouachita Joint Utility Council, will host its eighth annual "Digger’s Night Out" Thursday, April 3 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. on the second floor of the ULM Student Center. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.

"Digger’s Night Out" is a nationwide program focusing on underground utility damage prevention and safety education. This free safety awareness program, sponsored by public utilities, pipelines, and communication companies, is geared toward contractors, foremen, operators, and anyone who digs underground.

Dr. Keith Parker, director of the ULM School of Construction Management, said, “As a leader in construction education, the ULM School of Construction Management has a duty to promote and be part of this active campaign to educate those involved in working around underground utilities.”

A buffet style dinner will be served. This event is open to the public. Contact Parker at: (318) 342-1871 to reserve seating or for more information.
