ULM raising money for March of Dimes via April 6’s Pack the Park baseball fundraiser

The University of Louisiana at Monroe March of Dimes baseball fundraiser Pack the Park will occur at the big home game Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. against the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Several student groups are helping the March of Dimes raise awareness and money. Pi Kappa Alpha and the ULM Spirit groups will be at the park from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. There will be an information table and donation bottle out front.

Associate Director of Alumni Relations Tommy Walpole described several of the family benefits associated with the fundraiser. “Children will have extra fun opportunities via an air toy and face painting. These events are free of charge and are open to the general public. Just come to the park, give if you can, let your kids have a good time, then support the Warhawks.”

The total amount raised will be announced at the game April 6, when the team will also perform a raffle for the cause. Louisiana Tech is also participating in the fundraiser, and, as usual, the competition continues.
