The ULM Department of Kinesiology recently had four papers accepted for presentation at The Southeast Regional Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Graduate students Kim Martin (of Calgary, Alberta, Canada), Courtney Anding (of West Monroe), Matt Nipper (of West Monroe), and Heather Hodges (of Clearwater, Fla.), all under ULM’s Dr. Kelly Friery and Dr. Lisa Colvin, had presentations at this meeting, held in Birmingham, Ala., Feb. 14 - 16.

Friery praised the students. “This is a difficult meeting to be accepted for presentation at. I had many colleagues and former professors comment on how well our department is doing.”
