Dr. Michelle McEacharn, associate dean for academic affairs in ULM’s College of Business, has been recognized for her outstanding efforts by the Southwest American Accounting Association.

McEacharn will receive the 2008 Thomson Southwestern Outstanding Educator Award by the SW AAA at its upcoming meeting in conjunction with the Federation of Business Disciplines meeting in Houston March 7.

Dr. Ron Berry, dean for the COB, said, “We all recognize Michelle as an outstanding educator and are certainly proud of her for being the recipient of this prestigious award.”
