The University of Louisiana at Monroe 31 Ambassadors returned from yet another conference with honors – this time from the annual Association of Student Advancement Programs’ District IV Conference, held in Houston Feb. 27-March 1. The ULM group won two of the four awards given. Amy Tidwell, a pharmacy senior from Springhill, won the 2009 Outstanding Student Leader Award. The 31 Ambassadors together won the 2009 Outstanding External Program for this year’s Chili Cook-Off. District Four includes ambassador programs from Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Mexico. The 31 Ambassadors are a high profile, high-energy organization composed of some of ULM's finest students.
