Fourth Annual Piece for Paint, Percussion and Pickup at ULM to make truck a moving work of art March 19

The School of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is proud to present the Fourth Annual Piece for Paint, Percussion and Pickup, a collaboration between the Division of Art's Delta Alpha Honorary Art Fraternity and the Division of Music Percussion Ensemble directed by Mel Mobley.

This free event, open to the public, will occur Thursday, March 19, at noon in Bayou Park and is part of ULM's Spring Fever Week.

Piece for Paint 2008
ULM students participate in the 2008 Piece for Paint, Percussion and Pickup event.

This year’s truck is owned by ULM associate professor of biology Ricky Fiorillo. At noon, the Percussion Ensemble will arrive with the truck; Delta Alpha students will paint the truck over a period of one hour while the ensemble plays around and among them.
