ULM winner to take home $200 cash prize at ThinkFast competition March 26

Are your wits sharp enough to take home a $200 cash prize?

ULM students are invited to participate in ThinkFast, a battle of the wits competition, Thursday, March 26, from 7-10 p.m. in the University of Louisiana at Monroe Student Union Building Ballroom.

Built around the concept of team effort, ThinkFast is a trivia-based game show that utilizes the Fleetwood Wireless Keypad. A trivia question will appear on the screens and each team will huddle together to select the correct answer. The teams that answer correctly the fastest win the most points. The teams with the most points are given the opportunity to advance to the next level.

To keep the entire audience engaged throughout the show, the host incorporates Wild Cards, or teams that are indiscriminately selected to take control of the game from high-scoring teams. There can be as many Wild Card teams as possible, and in an average game, there are several teams that are chosen to compete for the final winner-take-all game prize.

The event is sponsored by Residential Life and the Campus Activities Board.
