ULM's Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity to hold fundraiser March 19
ULM's Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity will hold a fundraising event for Jonny Saterfield on Monday, March 19, from 4-8 p.m. at Catfish Charlie's on Louisville Ave.
Saterfield is a senior at West Monroe High School who was diagnosed with testicular cancer on Sept. 30, 2011.
He is currently a patient at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Both of Saterfield's parents serve the community working for the City of Monroe Fire Department.
The event at Catfish Charlie's is designed to raise money to help offset the expenses of Saterfield's treatment.
The restaurant is will donate 25 percent of the price of the meal with a ticket voucher – presented upon arrival - to the event.
Pi Kappa Alpha will distribute the vouchers on ULM's campus all week and on March 19 in ULM's Quad.
If anyone interested is unable to attend the event, they may still donate to the family at P.O. Box 9062, Monroe, LA 71211-9062.
