The SACRAO Journal is published annually by the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, a professional, 3,000 membership, 13-state organization designed to promote and advance the improvement of admissions, registration, records, data management, international education and financial aid management practices through study, education and research. The organization also seeks to advance professional knowledge and techniques by fostering the exchange of experiences and information and to develop and advance standards of competence in the profession. This award-winning issue of the Journal features articles on the Home School Experience, Funding for Electronic Data Interchange, Remedial and Developmental Program Retention, and others. In his "Editor's Reflections," Robertson notes that this edition is about change. "As the SACRAO membership has proved over the last 100 years, when the concepts of self worth and truth are acknowledged as the primary bases for providing the best service for students and colleagues, one can easily adapt to progressive change," Robertson wrote. Robertson is a 1972 graduate of Ponchatoula High School. He received the bachelor's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, the master's degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and the doctoral degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois.
