Student Affairs Awards Night honors outstanding effort

The winners of ULM’s annual Student Affairs Awards Night received their honors Thursday, April 30.

Joseph Beard and Andrew Norwood earned recognition as Campus Activities Board officers. Beard was also named Interfraternity Greek Spirit Award winner, and Norwood received honors as the Melvin Rambin Backbone Award Winner.

Micah Pulliam and Jason McCourt were named as Outstanding Greeks. Pulliam was also deemed the James E. Cofer Golden Feather Award winner.

Chuck Ganley became the Campus Involvement Scholarship winner and was installed as the new Student Government Association Treasurer.

Beard, Pulliam, Norwood and McCourt were also recognized as graduating seniors by the SGA.

The ULM Office of Greek Life held its annual Athenian Awards banquet April 30 in conjunction with the Student Affairs Awards Night.

Among the honors: Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was named as the top IFC chapter, as ULM’s Organization of the Year for the seventh time in nine years, as a ULM Five Star Organization, and as the winner of the All-University Athletic Championship.
