ULM art student wins awards at Vicksburg Art Association Spring Exhibition
University of Louisiana at Monroe art student Leah K. Norris of Vicksburg, Miss., received several prestigious awards at the recent Vicksburg Art Association Spring Exhibition.
Leah K. Norris' entry "Cultivator", of wood and steel.
Norris' category was Fine Arts/Sculpture. For her "On the Phone," she received first place in the drawing category and Third Best in Show.
For her "Cultivator," she won first place in the 3-D category and Second Best in Show.
Tresner
"The Division of Art faculty are very proud of Leah Norris and her leadership qualities," said Cliff Tresner, ULM associate professor of art. "Her commitment to art inspires her classmates to higher achievements."
The Vicksburg Art Association Spring Show ran from April 28-May 2 and was judged by Dan Piersol.
