A recent Quality Assurance Review of the University of Louisiana at Monroe’s internal audit department determined that the department conforms to the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards).

This opinion, which is the highest rating possible, means policies, procedures, and practices are in place to implement requirements of the standards necessary to ensure independence, objectivity, and proficiency of the internal audit function.
