Dunn presents work at annual entrepreneurship and small business conference

Dr. Paul DunnPaul Dunn, distinguished professor of entrepreneurship and small business at ULM, presented three papers and a workshop at the annual Association for Entrepreneurship and
Small Business Conference in Austin, Texas,
Oct. 10 – 12.

Dunn’s paper “Exploring the Myths of Optimism and Realism in Entrepreneurship Related to Expectations and Outcomes,” coauthored with Kathleen Liang, received the best paper award.

He presented “Human Resource Management In Small Businesses: Does Size Matter?,” coauthored with Larry Short. It received the second runner-up paper award.

Dunn’s third paper was titled “Small Business Managers’ Perceptions of Advertising Service Providers” and was coauthored with Bobby Stevens, Henry Cole, and David Loudon.

He also conducted a workshop, “Who are Entrepreneurship Professors?,” with Liang.
