LSBDC at ULM to offer business tax issues
workshop Nov. 20
For tax preparers and accountants, the busy season is just around the corner. A special, Monroe-area professional seminar will explain the latest changes to wages, withholding and other business tax issues Thursday, Nov. 20, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Anna Gray Noe Alumni Center, located at 4400 Bon Aire Drive.
The workshop is sponsored by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at ULM, the Louisiana Department of Revenue and the U.S. Social Security Administration. Each of these agencies will have experts on hand to answer questions about the latest tax changes and small business resources.
Certificates of attendance will be issued at completion of the three-hour course for CPE hours. There is a $10 cost, and advance registration is required. For more information, and to register, contact the LSBDC at ULM at 318-342-1224.
