McGahan attends national psychology conference

Dr. Joseph McGahan, professor of social psychology and co-director of the Social Science Research Lab at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, attended The Fifth Annual Science Leadership Conference from Nov. 14-16 in Washington D.C.

The American Psychological Association sponsored the conference.

The conference, “Enhancing the Nation’s Health Through Psychological Science,” focused on the important role of the National Institute of Health in psychological science.

McGahan also met with Louisiana legislators to discuss ongoing psychological research at various Louisiana universities including ULM, Tulane and Louisiana State University.
