Original works to premiere at ULM Dance Department's Fall Fusion Concert Dec. 2
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Dance Department's Fall Fusion Concert is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
The program is free and open to the public.
Dancers perform in a Fusion concert from 2009.
Featured in this year's concert are works by ULM Dance Faculty Tina Mullone and Robin Stephens.
Mullone will present original works inspired by the popular musical group " Carolina Chocolate Drops." She will also present her country suite titled "Cane River," which includes three movements: "Sunrise," "Midday," and "Evening."
Stephens' works feature dancing excerpts from the American Broadway musicals "42nd St.," "Damn Yankees" and "Chicago."
All performers are members of the ULM Repertory Dance Ensemble.
Marcy Hall, VAPA's versatile costumer, has provided attractive accessories for the dancers.
