Oct. 13, 2005 There will be two Chautauqua Nexus events at ULM this week. The first nexus will occur on Thursday, October 13 on the 6th Floor of the ULM Library. John Rettenmayer and the Gumbeaux Gold Quartet will host "Barbershop Quartet: History and Performance." The event begins at 7:15 p.m. On Friday, October 14, Dr. Richard Hood, executive assistant to ULM President James Cofer, will speak about "The Life and Music of Chet Atkins" on the 6th Floor of the ULM Library. This event begins at 5:15 p.m. Two additional Chautauqua Nexus events will also occur next week. On Thursday, October 20 at 7:15 p.m., the topic discussed will be "Peace in Ireland." Speaker TBA, and the discussion will be held at the 6th Floor of the ULM Library. On Friday, October 21, Marsha McGee will speak about "Affluenza" at Stubbs Hall, Room 244. The event begins at 5:15 p.m. All Chautauqua Nexus events are informal
