The University of Louisiana at Monroe’s “Chili Bowl Championship XXII” will occur on campus Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Grove prior to the home football game against Middle Tennessee State University. Check-in starts at noon.

The ULM 31 Ambassadors organization is sponsoring the annual competition. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place; showmanship; and people’s choice in each division.

Open division teams may compete for $40 and ULM student teams for $30. Each team may include a maximum of six people. Chili will be cooked from scratch on site. Each team will receive a head cook apron, beverages and goodies. Participants must supply their own equipment (table, chairs, burners, etc.).
