The ULM Chamber Singers will again team with LA Tech’s University Choir and Chamber Singers, this time in Ruston Tuesday, Oct. 30 at Tech’s Howard Auditorium. The event is scheduled for 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. and is free-of-charge.

Laura Thompson will lead the Tech and ULM singers in the Bach Cantata for this concert. ULM’s Deborah Chandler, assistant professor of music at ULM, conducted both university vocal groups at the first recent collaboration Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the First Methodist Church in Monroe at 7:30 p.m.

“The University of Louisiana at Monroe choral program is growing rapidly and has become a strong educational and cultural attraction in this region,” Chandler said. “The strength of this program is due to the talent and fine musicianship of our students.”
