International Education Week event scheduled for
Nov. 13 at ULM

The ULM International Education Council and the International Student Association will co-host a cultural event with something for everyone Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Student Union Building, Ballroom A.

The celebration will occur as part of “International Education Week,” so designated by the U.S. Department of State as Nov. 12 – 16.

The ULM event will have a Study Abroad station, involving brochures, a computer database with links to a variety of programs both domestic and abroad, scholarship information, and more.

The event will also feature a display of the flags of the 48 countries represented by ULM students, artwork, photos, clothing, textiles, and maps illustrating the regions. A collection of masks from different countries, simple to very elaborate, will also be seen. Several of the international students will conduct half-hour presentations on their home countries throughout the day.

Windows a Bookshop will have cookbooks and books on travel.
