ULM Baseball Team collecting donations for the Food Bank at special fall games

Take me out to the ballpark…and please bring a canned food item while you’re at it!

This fall, for the first time in many years, the ULM baseball team will be playing two games against outside competition and not an intra-squad scrimmage as they have typically done in past fall seasons.

The first game in question will occur Sunday, Oct. 5, beginning at 2 p.m. The ULM Baseball Team will take on the University of Arkansas-Monticello. The team will then compete against Bossier Parish Community College Sunday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m.

Instead of charging the standard admission price for these two games, the ULM Baseball Team is asking fans to bring an item for donation to the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana. This can be a food item by way of canned goods, or nonperishable items with original labels in place or cash. A table will be set up at the gates to Warhawk Field to accept all donations.
