LSBDC at ULM to offer “SBA Patriot Express Loan Program for Veterans” workshop Nov. 13
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana Monroe will offer a free “SBA Patriot Express Loan Program for Veterans” workshop Thursday, Nov. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at the ULM Administration Building, room 2-105.
Patriot Express is a loan program designed for military community members including veterans, service-disabled veterans, active-duty service members participating in the military’s Transition Assistance Program, Reservists and National Guard members, current spouses of any of the above, and the widowed spouse of a service member or veteran who died during service, or of a service-connected disability.
This new Patriot Express Loan is offered by the Small Business Administration’s network of participating lenders nationwide and features SBA’s fastest turnaround time for loan approvals. Loans are available up to $500,000. The Patriot Express Loan can be used for most business purposes, including start-up, expansion, equipment purchases, working capital, inventory, or business-occupied real-estate purchases. Topics of discussion include program information, loan eligibility and requirements and how to access Patriot Loans.
