Breakout sessions and workshops will also occur. After lunch, students will have the option of campus tours and a residence hall open house. Auditions and portfolios factor into the afternoon sessions, conducted from 1:30-3:30 p.m. The auditions are also for talent grants/scholarships. Senior and transfer students can sign up in advance for an audition time or do so during check-in at VAPA Day. High school students who are interested in singing are invited to remain until 4 p.m. when there will be a master class with Joey Evans, a well-known professional tenor. This event will take place in the Biedenharn Recital Hall, and is free and open to the public. For more information, contact (318) 342-3811 or go to www.ulm.edu/vapa.
