Piano virtuoso Vladimir Zaitsev to perform at the ULM Recital Hour Oct. 28

Vladimir ZaitsevPiano virtuoso Vladimir Zaitsev will perform in concert at the ULM Recital Hour Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall.

Zaitsev appears courtesy the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens and the Louisiana Presenters Network. There is no charge to attend, and the public is invited.

A native of Kiev, Ukraine, Zaitsev has performed on three continents, including appearances in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall with the International Symphony, as well as a number of television and radio appearances. His solo repertoire includes works from the classical as well as from the popular culture presented in an informal and lighthearted style. Any one performance includes well-known piano masterpieces, along with Zaitsev's own insightful and virtuosic piano arrangements of well-known Broadway, "pop," and international favorites.

Zaitsev will also perform that evening in the Fountain Room of the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 at that event. A reception will follow.
