A reception honoring visiting Japanese communication scholar Dr. Takuji Shimada will be from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, in the lobby of Stubbs Hall.

The communication department, host for the event, invites the university community to attend. Please enter Stubbs Hall at the glass doors nearest University House.

Dr. Shimada is associate professor at the Center for Language Education and Research and faculty member of International Culture Studies at Tenri University, Nara, Japan. He and ULM associate professor of communication Dr. Carl Thameling are collaborating on a
cross cultural research project.
