Several October 1 Events Surround ULM Football Game Against Arkansas
State
Football fans and ULM supporters will
find plenty to do on October 1 at ULM.
At 12 noon., the ULM L-Club Hall of Fame
Banquet and Induction Ceremony will commence at the Library Conference
Center on campus.
The L-Club is the organization composed
of all former ULM athletes. Its primary purpose is to bond these
athletes together through communication and special events. The
L-Club provides support for athletics, the Alumni Association
and the university. It encourages its membership to return to
campus and support the university as often as possible.
The ULM Alumni Association will hold their annual Ouachita Parish
Shrimp Boil in the ULM Grove from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Football fans
waiting to see the Indians take on Arkansas State (at 6 p.m.)
may purchase a ticket at $15 for shrimp, drink and all the trimmings.
People can also purchase a ticket for $20 that includes the shrimp
boil and a general admission ticket to the game for a savings
of $5.
Tickets are on sale now at the ULM Alumni Center at 4400 Bon
Aire Drive on the ULM campus, or people may call 318-342-5420
or the ULM Malone Stadium Ticket Office at 318-342-5417.
Theater patrons can enjoy a VAPA theatre production titled "Two
Rooms." The play by Lee Blessing is a timely drama directed
by Theatre Technical Director Jeremy Reynolds and begins at 7:30
p.m. in Spyker Theatre.
Admission is $10 for the general public
and $8 for seniors and children. ULM faculty, staff and students
may attend free of charge. Call the Theatre box office for ticket
reservations beginning Monday, September 19 at 318-342-1414.
