ULM Natural History Museum hosts speaker Oct. 4

In recognition of Archaeology Week, Charles McGimsey will present “Marksville Culture & Its Association with Hopewell Culture in the Ohio Valley: The Connection Between the Two & the Relationship in the Archaeological Side of Marksville 700 AD - 1 AD” on Wednesday, Oct. 4 in the Natural History Museum, located at ULM. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the program will follow at 7 p.m.

Museum organizers also announce the beginning of monthly discussions, which are open to the public. The discussions will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Topics will be announced soon.

The museum will be open every Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. beginning Friday, Sept. 29, and on Saturday, Sept. 30 for ULM Homecoming.
