The ULM Department of Biology will offer several educational seminars during the fall 2007 semester; the next is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 28 in Garrett Hall, Room 202 at 1 p.m.

Guest speaker Dwayne Wise of Mississippi State University will present “Understanding control checkpoints of eukaryotic cell division.”

Dawn Wilkins of the University of Tennessee at Martin will speak about the “Biology of woodpeckers of northwestern Tennessee” Friday, Oct. 26, also in Garrett Hall, Room 202 at 1 p.m.
