Pi Kappa Alpha and ULM baseball team help
CenturyLink families

Two University of Louisiana at Monroe organizations recently teamed up to volunteer at a family fun day for employees of CenturyLink.

Pi Kappa Alpha and the ULM Baseball Team donated an entire Saturday to help out at the CenturyLink event. The local business has generously supported ULM through the years, including a major contribution for ULM’s Clarke M. Williams Student Success Center.

This marks the first time the baseball team worked the event with Pi Kappa Alpha.

“I think it is great that two ULM groups, one representing Greek Life/ Student Life and one representing ULM Athletics would spend an entire day for a company that supports our university in the way that CenturyLink does,” said Tommy Walpole, associate director of alumni relations and Pi Kappa Alpha advisor.
